BEST WAY TO CARAMELIZE ONIONS

Might take some time & patience but SOOO worth the effort!

SLICE, SLICE, SLICE

your desired amount of onions into thin and even slices

MELT, MELT, MELT

some butter, oil or a combination of the 2 (or other cooking fat) in a skillet over medium heat

ADD, ADD, ADD

the sliced onions and toss well to coat in the cooking fat

ADD, ADD, ADD

some kind of cooking liquid (broth, beer, wine, water) a bit at a time

ADD, ADD, ADD

more liquid every time it dries out, stirring frequently throughout

STIR, STIR, STIR

until the onions are fully caramelized or browned to your liking (60+ minutes)

Perfect every time (and good on SO many things!!!)
