LIGHTENED UP BROCCOLI & CHEDDAR SOUP

A healthier version of a classic soup recipe.

ADD, ADD, ADD

the diced onions and minced garlic to a large pot with olive oil and sautée until softened

ADD, ADD, ADD

the broccoli florets and sautée for an additional 3-4 minutes

ADD, ADD, ADD

the whole wheat flour over top and toss/stir the broccoli to coat

ADD, ADD, ADD

the broth SLOWLY into the pot while stirring constantly to prevent lumps

COOK, COOK, COOK

for 15-20 minutes or until the broccoli is fork tender

BLEND, BLEND, BLEND

the soup in the pot until it's nice and smooth

ADD, ADD, ADD

the milk and freshly grated cheese to the pot then stir until well combined
