LIGHTENED UP (HEALTHY) EGGNOG RECIPE

Cause there's no reason why we ALL shouldn't be able to enjoy a glass of eggnog this holiday season.

ADD, ADD, ADD

the almond milk, coconut milk & honey to a pot on medium heat & bring to a simmer while constantly stirring

BEAT, BEAT, BEAT

the egg yolks in a bowl and then SLOWLY whisk in the milk mixture

ADD, ADD, ADD

the milk mixture back to the pot on low heat and stir constantly until thickened, about 5-7 minutes. Remove it from the heat

STIR, STIR, STIR

in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg & cloves

STRAIN, STRAIN, STRAIN

the eggnog into a bowl through a fine mesh strainer to catch any big clumps of spices or cooked egg pieces

CHILL, CHILL, CHILL

in the fridge for at least 4 hours (or overnight) then give it a good stir and serve!

I bet you won't even be able to tell it's not the classic.
