HOW TO MAKE BEEF JERKY IN A DEHYDRATOR

By Hip Hip Gourmet

There's NO competition between homemade jerky and store bought. NONE.

ADD, ADD, ADD

the sliced beef and your marinade of choice to a large ziploc bag

MARINATE, MARINATE,  MARINATE

the beef in the fridge for 4-24 hours (the longer the better)

PLACE, PLACE, PLACE

the beef slices in a single layer on the dehydrator trays

DEHYDRATE, DEHYDRATE, DEHYDRATE

at 160° for 4-6 hours or until the beef can be bent and cracked without breaking

LINE, LINE, LINE

a baking sheet with foil then add your jerky pieces in a single layer. Bake at 275° for 10-12 minutes

COOL, COOL, COOL

on a wire rack while patting dry with a clean pepper towel

Literally the best jerky no matter which way you slice it ;)
