EASY PICKLED RED ONIONS

Brighten up all of your favourite meals with these Pickled Red Onions.

SLICE, SLICE, SLICE

the onions into rings, keep them on the thin side

ADD, ADD, ADD

the water, vinegar, sugar, salt and optional spices to a pot, bring to a gentle boil, remove from the heat then slightly cool

ADD, ADD, ADD

the raw sliced onions into clean sterilized jars

TOP, TOP, TOP

with the cooled pickling liquid, pressing them down with the back of a spoon to make sure they're all submerged

CHILL, CHILL, CHILL

for at least an hour before using. For optimal flavour, let them sit in the fridge for a day or two.

As delicious as they are pretty!
