CREAMY PUMPKIN SAUSAGE SOUP

Do you hear that?! It's Fall calling...

TAKE, TAKE, TAKE

the sausage meat out of the casings by pushing it out with your fingers/hands

SAUTEE, SAUTEE, SAUTEE

the garlic, onions, celery, pepper & mushrooms in a large pot until soft

ADD, ADD, ADD

the sausage meat and cook until browned being sure to break it up into smaller pieces

SEASON, SEASON, SEASON

with Italian seasoning, salt & pepper then stir to coat

ADD, ADD, ADD

the pumpkin puree, stir and cook a few minutes until heated through

ADD, ADD, ADD

the chicken broth and sir until everything is well combined

BOIL, BOIL, BOIL

for 5-20 minutes, depending on how crisp you like your veggies

ADD, ADD, ADD

the chopped kale and stir until just wilted

ADD, ADD, ADD

the heavy cream and cook for an additional couple of minutes
