STEAKHOUSE STYLE REVERSE SEARED STEAK

Perfectly cooked (to your liking) every single time.

HEAT, HEAT, HEAT

the cast iron skillet in the oven as the steaks cook

PAT, PAT, PAT

the steaks dry on both sides with a piece of paper towel

LINE, LINE, LINE

a baking sheet with aluminum foil then place a wire rack on top

ADD, ADD, ADD

the steaks and season both sides generously with salt & pepper

BAKE, BAKE, BAKE

the steaks in a 275° oven for 10-25 minutes depending on the thickness and how well you like your steak

CAREFULLY REMOVE THE SKILLET FROM THE OVEN

place over high heat, once really hot add avocado oil and steaks

SEAR, SEAR, SEAR

for two minutes on each side or until a nice brown crust forms

OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED

add butter and spoon over the steaks for extra flavour

DON'T FORGET THE SIDES!

use tongs to help you render the fat on the edges and sides of the steaks

REST, REST, REST

the steaks on a cutting boil underneath a foil tent for at least 10 minutes

SLICE, SLICE, SLICE

the steaks against the grain and serve
