Fast. Fresh. Flavourful. You're gonna wanna go ahead and make these babies ASAP.

WIPE THE MUSHROOMS CLEAN

using a clean damp cloth or paper towel

REMOVE THE STEM AND GILLS

this should be a fairly quick & easy process

CHOP, CHOP, CHOP

up those meaty stems - they add great texture to the filling!

LINE A BAKING SHEET WITH PARCHMENT PAPER

& lay on those portobello mushrooms

SPRAY 'EM UP

with a little bit of oil & cooking spray & season them on both sides with salt & pepper

LET'S MAKE THE FILLING

start by sautéeing the onions, garlic & mushroom stems in a bit of olive oil

ADD THE SAUSAGE

& cook until browned, stirring frequently 

NEXT UP

add the spices, fresh basil & parmesan cheese, stir until well combined

LOAD 'EM UP WITH THE FILLING

& don't be shy...nobody wants a half stuffed mushroom!

TIME TO BAKE

in a 375° oven for 15 minutes

TOP 'EM UP

with more chopped fresh basil & freshly grated parmesan cheese
