PAN SEARED (CARAMELIZED) BOK CHOY

Hello. I'm your new favourite way of cooking Bok Choy.

MIX, MIX, MIX

the coconut aminos, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger & sriracha in a large but shallow dish

LAY, LAY, LAY

the Bok Choy pieces, cut side down, in the marinade & leave for at least 10 minutes

LOAD, LOAD, LOAD

the Bok Choy pieces, cut side down, in a HOT cast iron skillet (resist the urge to move or touch them)

BASTE, BASTE, BASTE

with the leftover marinade alllll over as they cook

FLIP, FLIP, FLIP

the Bok Choy after 2-3 minutes, using tongs

BASTE, BASTE, BASTE

the Bok Choy again with the marinade

TRANSFER, TRANSFER, TRANSFER

the seared Bok Choy to a plate, after cooking an additional 2-3 minutes, then top with sesame seeds

Caramelized, crispy & charred allllll over.
