CHEESE STUFFED ITALIAN SAUSAGES

Only 4 simple ingredients & 0 fancy equipment required.

PREPARE THE SAUSAGES

slit the casing being careful not to cut all the way through. Then gently press a slice of cheese into the meat, reforming the sausage around it

SPOON, SPOON, SPOON

some tomato sauce down into the bottom of a baking dish and spread it out to ensure the sausages don't stick while cooking

ARRANGE, ARRANGE, ARRANGE

the cheese stuffed sausages into the baking dish & top with more tomato sauce

BAKE, BAKE, BAKE

covered, in a 400° oven for 30 minutes, remove the foil then bake for an additional 5-10

TOP, TOP, TOP

with fresh chopped basil (or other fresh herbs of choice)
