SWISS CHARD ROLL (PINWHEELS)

This one's been in the family for GENERATIONS.

CHOP, CHOP, CHOP

the swiss chard into small pieces, put it in an airtight container, mix in some salt, cover & refrigerate overnight

MAKE, MAKE, MAKE

the dough by following my easy pizza dough recipe (searchable on the blog!)

SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE

the water out of the swiss chard as thoroughly as possible

MIX, MIX, MIX

the garlic, chili flakes, olive oil, salt, pepper & swiss chard in a bowl

FLOUR, FLOUR, FLOUR

a piece of parchment paper then roll out the dough

SPREAD, SPREAD, SPREAD

the swiss chard filling evenly over dough

ROLL, ROLL, ROLL

the dough into a tight log using the piece of parchment to help you

BAKE, BAKE, BAKE

the swiss chard roll in a 350° oven for 30 minutes, broiling for colour in the last 5

Seriously, the best.
