MOM'S FAMOUS WHITE WINE CHICKEN

My mama's famous recipe that she's been making for decades.

MARINATE THE CHICKEN

in salt, pepper & freshly squeezed lemon juice for at least 2 hours but up to overnight

PREPARE THE POTATOES

cut any big ones in half and season them with olive oil, salt, pepper, basil & oregano

BROWN THE CHICKEN BREASTS

lightly on each side (2-3 minutes per side) in some oil in hot pan

NEXT UP

sautée the sliced red bell peppers in some oil for a few minutes

NEXT UP

add the mushrooms, wine, salt & pepper. Give it a good stir and simmer for a few minutes

TO A BAKING DISH

add the seasoned potatoes & seared chicken breasts

POUR, POUR, POUR

the bell pepper, mushroom & white wine mixture over top

BAKE, BAKE, BAKE

in a 350° oven for 35-40 minutes or until the potatoes are fork tender

Don't forget to spoon a little extra white wine sauce on top!
