Instructions
Spray the air fryer tray or basket with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
Add the chicken wings to a large bowl. Pat dry with paper towel.
In a small ramekin, mix the salt, pepper, and baking powder until well combined.
Add it to the chicken wings and toss to coat. I use my hands to make sure all the wings are nicely coated with the mixture.
Lay the wings out in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray, leaving enough space between them to 'breathe' (try not to touch or overcrowd too much).
Bake on 450°F for 18-25 minutes. Every air fryer is different! Yours might even have it's own chicken wing setting - if so, use that. Either way, start keeping an eye on the wings at the 15 minute mark to ensure nothing burns. We like extra crispy wings and I find that the 25 minute mark is when they're the crispiest. NOTE: You may have to flip the wings halfway through air frying to ensure even cooking on both sides. With my model, since there is 360° air circulation, flipping is not needed. They're done when an instant read thermometer reads 165°F.
Immediately add to a bowl and lightly re-season with some more sprinkles of salt and pepper. Serve with all your favourite dipping sauces!
