Ingredients
1poundGround Pork
2Cloves Garlicfinely minced
2tbspSoy Sauce, Tamari, or Coconut Aminos
2tbspGreen Onionfinely sliced, plus more for garnish
11 1/4- inch knobFresh Gingerfinely minced
1tspSrirachaoptional
Salt and Pepperto taste
Avocado Oilfor frying
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a bowl.
Use your hands to gently combine being careful not to overwork the meat.
Form 12 medium sized uniform meatballs.
Add enough avocado oil to the bottom of a skillet and heat on medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in a single layer (work in batches if you have to). Cook for 5-7 minutes in total, flipping and rotating the meatballs on all sides throughout to ensure even browning and cooking on all sides. Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired and serve immediately or add to things like soups, stews or Asian inspired dishes.
Notes
If you prefer to bake these pork meatballs instead, pop them in a 400°F oven for 15-20 minutes flipping halfway through. Broil your meatballs in the last couple of minutes to get that nice brown coating you generally get with frying.
