1cupFresh Basil Leavestorn
½smallRed Onionthinly sliced
¼cupExtra Virgin Olive Oil
2tbspBalsamic Vinegar
1tspHoney
Saltto taste
Freshly Ground Black Pepperto taste
200gFresh Mozzarella Balls (mini bocconcini)optional but recommended
Instructions
Core the tomatoes and cut them into even size wedges. Add them to a bowl.
Add the basil leaves, red onion, and mozzarella balls, if using.
In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and honey until well combined.
