½cupWater
2tbspUnsalted Butter
2Cloves Garlicminced
¼tspSaltor to taste
¼tspBlack Pepperor to taste
1tbspExtra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
Add water to the Instant Pot. Place the broccoli florets directly into the pot. Seal the lid and set the Instant Pot to manual pressure for 0-1 minute* (see notes)
Once the timer goes off, do a quick release of the pressure. Carefully remove the broccoli from the Instant Pot and set it aside.
Turn the Instant Pot to Sauté mode and add the butter and olive oil. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Add the cooked broccoli back into the Instant Pot with the garlic butter sauce. Toss well to coat the broccoli evenly.
Notes
Setting the timer to 0 minutes will give you crisp-tender broccoli, while 1 minute will yield a more tender (almost mushier) texture. Adjust based on your preference!
