Ingredients
1lb (454g)Ground Beef(80/20 for best flavour)
1tspSalt
½tspBlack Pepper
½tspGarlic Powder
6cupsIceberg Lettucethinly shredded
1cupShredded Cheddar Cheese(or American cheese cut into small squares)
Heat a skillet over medium-high. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned and no longer pink (about 6–7 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed. Set aside to cool slightly.
In a large salad bowl, layer the chopped lettuce. Top with cheese, pickles, and onion. Spoon the warm seasoned beef over the salad base. Generously drizzle with your prepared Big Mac sauce. Toss lightly if serving as a mixed salad, or leave drizzled for presentation. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds for the true “Big Mac” finish.
Notes
Keep components separate if prepping ahead: store lettuce and sauce separately to avoid soggy greens.
