4-6chicken sausagesany kind
Cooking oil sprayoptional
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F for 2–3 minutes.
Place the chicken sausages in a single layer in the basket. Leave a bit of space between them so the air can circulate. Lightly spray with cooking oil, if using.
Air fry at 375°F, flipping halfway through: Fully cooked sausages: 8–10 minutes. Raw chicken sausages: 12–14 minutes. Frozen sausages: 12–15 minutes. Check for doneness: Fully cooked sausages should be heated through and lightly crisped. Raw sausages should reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
Let them rest for 1–2 minutes before serving for the juiciest results.
Notes
Use any type of chicken sausage you like, but keep in mind raw sausages take longer and need to reach 165°F internally.Don’t overcrowd the basket. Giving them space is what helps them brown instead of steam.A light spray of oil isn’t required, but it helps create that golden, slightly crisp exterior, especially with lean sausages.Avoid piercing the sausages before cooking. This keeps them juicy and prevents them from drying out.Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat in the air fryer for best texture.
