Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
Slice into rounds and serve over steak, grilled vegetables, corn on the cob, seafood, baked potatoes, or warm bread.
Notes
Use softened butter, not melted. It should be soft enough to mix easily while still holding its shape.Choose fresh, firm garlic scapes. Avoid any that are wilted, yellowing, or slimy for the best flavour and texture.Chop the garlic scapes finely. Smaller pieces distribute more evenly throughout the butter and make cleaner slices.Don't skip the chill time. Refrigerating the butter for at least 1 hour helps it firm up and makes slicing much easier.Freeze for later. Wrap the butter tightly and freeze for up to 3 months. Slice off rounds as needed or thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
