Notes
Use ripe, in season tomatoes. Since this salad has so few ingredients, the quality of your tomatoes makes all the difference.Let the burrata come to room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes before serving for the creamiest texture and best flavour.Go easy on the balsamic glaze. A light drizzle enhances the salad without overpowering the fresh tomatoes and burrata.Assemble just before serving. This keeps the tomatoes from releasing too much liquid and the basil looking fresh.Enjoy it fresh. Leftovers will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day, but the texture is best the day it's made.
