Notes
Use fresh dill whenever possible for the brightest flavour and vibrant colour. Dried dill works in a pinch, but the flavour won't be quite as fresh.Choose a good quality mayonnaise. Since it's the base of the recipe, the better the mayo, the better the finished sauce. If time allows, don't skip the chill time. Just 15 minutes in the fridge helps the flavours meld and makes the mayo even more flavourful.Go easy on the garlic. One small clove is plenty, allowing the fresh dill and lemon to remain the stars.Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Give it a quick stir before serving if any separation occurs.
