HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE PIZZA DOUGH

My go-to homemade Pizza Dough recipe if only for the 20 minute rise time.

the yeast by mixing it with warm water and letting it stand for 5 minutes until active and bubbly

half the flour and mix until smooth in a stand mixer using a dough hook

the salt, Italian seasoning and remaining flour and mix until smooth & combined

FORM, FORM, FORM

into a rough ball, cover with siran wrap or a cloth and let rest for 10-20 minutes

GREASE, GREASE, GREASE

a parchment lined baking sheet with olive oil

POUR, POUR, POUR

the dough out onto a floured surface, shape it into a ball with your hands then split it into 2 equal portions

ROLL, ROLL, ROLL

it out into desired shape and thickness using a rolling pin

TRANSFER, TRANSFER, TRANSFER

to the greased parchment lined baking sheet

STRETCH, STRETCH, STRETCH

it out, using your fingers and hands, to fit the shape of the pan

TOP, TOP, TOP

with your favourite sauce, cheese and pizza toppings!
