Imagine the ultimate comfort food mashup: the juicy, flavourful goodness of a hamburger meets the cheesy, saucy delight of pizza. Get ready to dive into the culinary fusion you never knew you needed, but won't be able to live without!
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 baking sheet with parchment paper and then add your rolled out pizza dough.
Add the olive oil to a skillet along with the ground beef and diced onions. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook, over medium heat, until browned and no pink parts remain. Drain any excess fat, if necessary then set aside to cool slightly.
Combine the mayo, ketchup, and hot sauce in a bowl.
Spread it evenly over your pizza dough, leaving about an inch of space around the perimeter for the crust.
Add the ground beef mixture evenly over top.
Add the grated marble cheese then drizzle on some ketchup and mustard over the top of the whole pizza.
Add the sliced pickles and pepperoncinis. Sprinkle the sesame seeds around the crust (gently push them down with your fingers to adhere).
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden. Let it sit for a few minutes before slicing it into even slices. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
My recipe for homemade pizza dough (aka the BEST and easiest dough ever!) makes 2 9x13 size pizzas. You only need one for this recipe. Either double the ingredients for this hamburger pizza recipe so you can use both doughs, make a completely different pizza for the second dough, or freeze one for later.Store bought pizza dough will also work for this recipe.
