SAUTEED ASPARAGUS WITH MUSHROOMS

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Asparagus
  • 8 oz. Cremini or Baby Bella Mushrooms sliced
  • 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil divided
  • 3 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese optional

Instructions

  • Trim the asparagus and cut it into 2-inch pieces.

  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Stir and cook another 2 minutes.

  • Toss in the asparagus, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the asparagus is crisp-tender.

  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for another minute. Remove from heat and drizzle the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil over the top for a rich finish. Sprinkle with Parmesan if desired and enjoy!
