This quick and easy recipe brings two beloved condiments together: mustard and mayonnaise! Mustard mayo takes only a couple of minutes to make and is the perfect dipping sauce for all of your favourite things!

Hi, guys, Thanks for tuning into the blog today. My name is Andrea and I have a confession to make. That’s right. Are you sitting down for this one? I have a sister who could literally eat an entire jar of mayonnaise… BY. THE. SPOONFUL. Yup. That’s my confession. Is there such thing as an intervention for these types of things?!

My older sister Erica just looooves mayo. She has to put it on literally everything. And I mean EVERYTHING! She can eat a slice of bread with just mayo on it. She gets extra on every sandwich or burger she’s ever ordered. And of course, she’s one of those people who just haaaaas to have a side of it just to dip her french fries. But I guess I can’t blame her because I, myself, am a big fan of anything dippable and creamy. Including mayonnaise. Especially when it’s mixed with other ingredients (spicy mayo or chipotle mayo, anyone?!) to make it even better!

Now, you might be looking at me as if I have four heads wondering why on Earth anyone would need a so-called recipe for mustard mayo. I mean, isn’t it literally one of the easiest things you could ever possibly make??? (YES!) Don’t you just mix mustard and mayo together and call it a day?! And while you’re not wrong and admittedly, I even gave some consideration as to whether or not I should even call this one a recipe, there is a little bit of method to my madness.

First off, IMHO, it’s important to know the perfect ratio of mustard to mayo. And while you could spend some time trying to figure this out on your own… why?! When I’ve done all the guesswork for you. This mustard mayo has the perfect amount of both ingredients to make this easy dipping sauce creamy, tangy and packed full of flavour. Second of all, I wanted this simple recipe to serve as a reminder that magic in the kitchen doesn’t always need all the bells and whistles. Sometimes, all it takes is to mix a couple of basic condiments together and voila, you’ve got yourself an out-of-this-world dipping sauce I guarantee you’ll be making again and again. Poof!
